Creative-adjacent, anyway. So anyway, I've been cherishing this Mary Engelbreit tin box for years. I've tried using it to hold various and sundry art and craft supplies, but nothing ever quite fit. But now I think I've got the perfect use for my tin. It just needed one small modification. ( Photos )

Mine. 69 and feeling every second of it. The fam are being very good to me, there will be takeout pho for lunch. But I'm tired and depressed and I don't know why*. I spent part of today restringing my favorite elasticated mala bracelets. The ones I wasn't wearing anyway will be taken apart and recycled back into the hoard. Then I took apart a pair of hairsticks I'd made that were too long to wear, and turned the focal beads into a pair of earrings. They make me think of the moon over the sea. ( Oooh shiny )

She's done. Since Paul doesn't want her anywhere near him*, she's going to live in my studio most of the time. At Halloween she will emerge from her watery lair to terrify all beholders, heh heh heh. ( Beware )

After at least 15 years, the shirt is finished. I think I was working on it when Aged Dad started going back and forth to the hospital in 2019 and had to set it aside. Anyway, yay, I guess. ( Behold. )

The conjoined journal box is done. It started as Alma de la Melana Cox's Yin Yang Box class. But there was a lot of preparation about yin and yang and chakras, and I just couldn't wrap my head around it. So I kind of did my own thing. The day and night/dawn and dusk concept really started with the paper for the night journal - I found it and fell in love. ( Many photos follow )
