Sep. 8th, 2023 08:42 pmThe embroidery is done. Next, I haul all the boxes of cotton batiks out of the den closet and see if there's anything that'll work for the backing and binding the edges.

Aug. 21st, 2023 12:01 pmApparently I uploaded the photo for Lesson 1 and forgot to post it. To be fair, that was also the day the garage across the back alley burned down. I may have been a wee bit distracted. ( Better late than never )

Aug. 20th, 2023 08:55 amOkay then. I finally got through Lesson 2 of the Creative Thread Embroidery Class. Lesson 3 is filling stitches and finishing. I'm tired of this and just want it done, honestly. I will not be making it into a needlebook as in the class. It'd make an awkwardly one, and I don't use needlebooks anyway. I have too many needles.
