A Snake for Medusa

On Mother’s Day, I got dressed up with all my Medusa jewelry, the necklace and earrings I made and the Medusa ring I got from the Peculiarity Shop. It was then that I realized that I needed a bracelet. Then I remembered the Czech glass snake bead sets I’d bought years ago. Today I made time to play with beads.

So, a vintage Czech glass snake set (head, two body pieces, tail) and assorted red, clear, and hematite-colored glass beads, and a gunmetal clasp and findings. The larger red beads have little gold stars. I put the clasp on the head end because I thought it looks, if you have a good imagination, like the snake’s tongue. Everything is from the hoard, because I’m trying to behave myself and not buy more shiny stuff unless absolutely necessary.
