anne_dEmily saw a great horned owl at college, and kindly gave me permission to share photos. Just FYI, she has an excellent zoom lens on her camera; she was not up close even though it looks that way.
So:
That's two kinds of owls she's seen in the wild since she moved to La Jolla. I am all envy. But at least she sends me photos. She is a most excellent daughter.
