Miniature Disasters

What a wasted week.
Emily has been weepy, Kitty has been not doing her assigned room-cleanup, lying about it, then getting mad at me when I catch her out. The joys of having two daughters of a certain age... I just hope Emily's new medication (she's on a low-dose birth control pills) helps with the mood swings.
Not to mention a cat who is even more irritating in her tortie-meseness than usual - she doesn't know what she wants, I certainly don't, so she smacks me. With claws. This morning, she caught my left middle finger right on the first joint, so now I have a bandaid there to keep blood from getting all over the laundry.
Which brings me to the annoying spouse. Himself thinks, apparently, that it's funny to wrap his dark socks up inside his white underwear so that I have to search the dirty laundry for potential disasters even more carefully. Also, using a pocket protector for the half-dozen or so essential pens is Not Manly. Having hot pink and neon orange gel inkstains on the pockets of all his nice dress shirts for work, it appears, is. Men.
Me, I'm just tired. Nights of no sleep, even with pharmaceutical help, no real cooldown at night (70°, I mean, really), days of just enough heat and humidity to be uncomfortable, frustration and guilt because I'm not getting enough done, the kind of fun that isn't.
I'm completely burned out. I'm a lesson behind on the online class and can't work up enough energy to clear off the kitchen table, pull out all the potential bits and pieces, and work on the mermaids. I'm so tired that I'm afraid to try cutting out the next bedroom curtain because I'm sure I'll screw it up somehow. And it's hard to concentrate when there are people wandering back and forth behind me, and I'm waiting for one of them to want something from me. Even if I tell whoever it is to take care of it her/himself, there goes my concentration, and I have precious little of it to begin with.
Also, my hand hurts.
Anne, but I'm getting better with left-handed mousing, which is worth something, I suppose
