Bush Commutes Scooter Libby's Sentence
Not content with destroying the achievements of at least the last two presidents (and in that I include those few of George the Elder's) and making the United States a hissing and a mockery around the world, George the Lesser has given one of his bestest buddies a get-out-of-jail-free pass.
No subtlety here, just plain pandering. Couldn't he at least have waited until the last minute before the end of his term?
Why this week? Stewart, Colbert and probably Olbermann are all on vacation this week, dammit. On the other hand, maybe that's why...

Keith Olbermann is not on vacation, it turns out, and he's dissecting the whole mess with a very sharp scalpel. I guess it'll be pundit-watching night around here, which is probably okay because I'm too tired and hot to watch our Dr Who tape - the first two 9th Doctor episodes, which have been waiting while we finish Studio 60.
