The last, alas, of Studio 60

anne_dA thought or two about the last :'( episode of Studio 60:
The finale was highly satisfactory, in the way that the Crossing Jordan finale was satisfactory - I didn't want the show to go, but it went out with style.
1. Aaron Sorkin is a genius, which I already knew. A pox upon NBC and its network suits. >:(
2. Aaron Sorkin has a slightly warped sense of humor. The title of the last episode of Studio 60, "What Kind of Day Has It Been", is the same as the title of the last episode of S1 of The West Wing. Coincidence? I think not.
3.In 1995, Bradley Whitford, played on ER a husband and father whose wife died during childbirth, leaving him to raise their newborn alone. Coincidence? Absolutely, but an odd one. At least this time everybody survived.
We're going to watch the last four again before I give the tapes to Daria, and if it comes out on DVD, I'm buying it.
