And on Tuesday, I painted fabric.

First I painted some Timtex, which is a heavy white interfacing:

I decided, for some reason, that I wanted to use autumn-leaf colors, or maybe agate colors, I'm not sure which or why. The only paint I have on hand in that color range is metallics, Lumiere and Adirondack. So that's what I used, after laying down a bit of Dye-na-flow in brown and (red+yellow =)orange. It didn't spread out as much as the Lutrandur/Dye-na-flow; also it didn't bleed through the Timtex.

When I was finished, the muslin I'd put underneath had a bit of paint around the edges, but was otherwise plain, sad and lonely. So I painted that too:

Since the fabric-painting went so quickly, I was able to get back to the Great Studio Sort. I put lots of things into cigar boxes, which emptied out drawers, into which I moved other art supplies to which I want quick access, and so on and so forth.

Because the cigar boxes are (a) various shapes and sizes and (b) have to fit into a limited space, they're sort of jigsaw-puzzled. I got tired of trying to remember the proper order, and just took a picture to use as a guide in future:

The shelf above the boxes is my mermaid shrine-collection-whatever.

So I'm sort of keeping up with one of the online classes, but the other... not so much. Oh well, it's not like there's a deadline, except in my head.
