And the stitches are:

Running stitch, chain and detached chain stitch, straight stitch, backstitch, stem stitch, satin stitch, fly stitch, scattered (small straight stitches), French knots, long-stemmed French knots (aka pistil stitch), cross-stitch and star cross-stitch (a doubled cross-stitch to make an eight-armed star), scroll stitch, coral knot stitch, feather stitch (slanting), leaf stitch, fern stitch.

All done in three strands of cotton floss, on cotton batik.



And now, it's time for a nap.

Ooh, I love it!

What kind of stitch is that that looks kind of like a tennis racket? I'm sorry; I don't know how else to describe it. Maybe smocking would be better.

Also, after reading all the types, stitch doesn't look like a word anymore :(

Tennis racket stitch? If it's the blue-green one down at the bottom, it's fly stitch. If it's the coral one at the top, it's feather stitch. They do look rather like webbing, done that close together.

I know what you mean. If I type the same word enough times, it starts looking like I spelled it wrong. [eyeroll]
