Conversation Hearts Lesson 1

I actually got the first lesson done today. All in a rush, as usual.

So, assorted fabrics, cotton batting, muslin backing, free-motion machine quilting. Not very good quilting, but it was my first attempt. It'll do.



I was thinking of maybe doing another one; I'd originally planned kimono-print fabrics. But I found the Frida print in my fabric-hoard and got inspired. I like the way this one turned out, so I'll just carry on with it.

Lesson 2 will be embellishment and finishing.
