Another project off the list

Not the best photo - the fabric is much prettier in reality, but there it is. The shells, seaweed, rock and feather all came from an early morning walk along Huntington Beach last year. The mermaid and octopus are ojime, Japanese carved boxwood beads.

As usual, the finished product bears very little resemblance to the original concept, but it was fun, and I'm pretty happy with it.
