anne_dSo I've been reading this book about Edward Gorey, Ascending Peculiarity, Edward Gorey on Edward Gorey. It's a collection of interviews.
ED was a television fan; he loved, among other things, Dallas, daytime soaps, Star Trek, Dr Who and The X-files.
And then, oh, and then...
P. 218, from an interview by Christopher Lydon of WBUR Boston NPR, Nov 26, 1998:
... I'm very fond of Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I recommend that highly to everybody.
I hit that, and it was, "Excuse me, I have to call *everyone* I have *ever* met, right now."
