Oh Happy 18th of September
Sep. 18th, 2008 10:49 amChalice* came out today, and I've already got my copy and put one of my last Brodarts on it. [does a little happy dance]
Now, the question is, when do I start reading? Perhaps after dinner, while I wait until all hours of the night for my wandering spouse to return?
On the other hand, I might not be able to put the book down and/or get any sleep.
Come to think of it, I probably won't be able to sleep anyway. By the time The Husband returns, and gets settled in, I'll be in that excited exhausted sleepwalking state, so I might as well get some enjoyment out of it. Tonight it is.
Unless I just can't wait. Maybe I'll take a little peek right now...
*Robin McKinley's eagerly awaited latest, for those of you not as obsessed as I. I also recommend Sunshine, one of the best vampire novels I've ever read, and basically everything else she's ever written, starting with Beauty, whilst I'm at it.
