anne_dShadow the Amazing Wonder-Tortie, Mighty Hunter, caught a mouse this evening.
The picture is a bit shaky; Emily was shooting through glass without flash in dim light, but here it is, cat and fat mouse fed on our birdseed:
Shadow is, as far as we know*, entirely self-taught at hunting, so she couldn't finish it off. The Husband drowned the mouse for her and disposed of the carcass.
That's our excitement for the evening, I hope.
*We adopted them at six weeks and never met their mom-cat.
