Herein is the first half of the Altered Art Bottle Necklaces class with which I've been pottering.
I ended up making ten of them. Kitty's already bagged the one with watch parts and crystal beads inside, as well as her own vial of the tiny seashells, I'm keeping a few for myself, and the rest will most likely be gifted to relations as the occasion warrants.
So, materials: Assorted glass vials and a couple of vintage perfume bottles, lots of rhinestone cup chain, beads, charms, findings vintage and modern, organza ribbon, cotton cord, chain, and assorted glues.
Also a vintage poster image, a postage stamp, and a couple of the vintage-style pharmaceutical labels that came with the amber vials, one of which I laminated and made into a charm of sorts.
Things inside some of the bottles include glass glitter, beads, watch parts, tiny dyed seashells, a tarot card, and a flower picture. Ruler for scale.
