It's nearly a massacre.
I could write a song. I can slay anything you want...
What rhymes with "want"?
Restaurant. No.
Triumphant. Aunt.
Never mind. Some things are better left alone.
More stuff moved, more stuff organized, this time in the cave; the closet floor is completely covered in tote bags*, but progress has been made. I've moved boxes until my back aches, and there's still so much more to do. [Whimper]
Now to bag up the rest of the donations for tomorrow's pickup**. Kitty contributed a laundry basket of outgrown and rejected t-shirts, including my long-lost Nature Company shirt with California poppy, which I took back, thank you very much.
*Well, half-covered. Or maybe a third. And some of them are in a laundry basket. But they still need sorting and putting away. I think I have too many workbags and baskets. Is that even possible? All right, it's my own fault for making workbags, and baskets, and collecting them...
**Which I'll have to do all by myself. [Whine] Kitty is still putting away shirts, and Emily is going to be home later because this class has homework. She emailed me in case Kitty forgot to tell me she'd called, which Kitty did, the little twerp. Spawn. Grrrr.

Date: 2008-07-08 12:11 am (UTC)Kitty, when questioned, had put the phone message post-it next to the phone, where it was immediately covered by clutter. Still, it's the thought that counts.
I'm used to having my shirts purloined by the daughters - Elder Daughter wears the same jewel-tones I favor and doesn't always check the size, and Younger Daughter just "forgets" whose clothing is whose - several of her dad's socks turned up in the grand cleanout of her sock drawer.
