Slight Rodential Problem
Jul. 4th, 2008 07:42 amWell, it's been confirmed. We heard scuttling noises overhead last night, The Husband went out front and looked at the roof, and saw a large rat.
That's right, folks, Mr. Samuel Whiskers is living in our attic.
The Husband is going to (finally) put new screen on all the vents and stop up the little gap in the eves next to the roof, which is apparently where the rat is getting in and out, and rig a one-way exit over the big vent at the back of the bungie section of the house. This weekend, even.
*Sigh* It could be worse. It could be sheep in the wainscoting. Armed sheep.
Wishing you all a happy and safe Independence Day, from the bloody colonials on this side of the pond.
