I am being dilatory in commenting on the crows; add it to the long list of ways I'm being disgustingly imperfect.
It's really exciting that Emily is getting to see this- my big birdwatching coups this year is seeing a baby killdeer, for only the third time in my life.
Julia, the baby crows here are way up on the hill, and fly around in the fir trees where it's very hard to see them
