I (finally) put together one of my jewelry projects.
Japanese carved wooden bat ojime (or maybe netsuke, not sure), black glass and carved wood beads, pewter clasp. The whole thing is about 19" long. The bat is hanging upside down; I had wanted it to hang nose up, but it kept flipping, so I gave in. Bats do what bats do. I love the detail on the bat - it has bright little black eyes, and adorable little carved toes, and the cutest ears...
