Since Proboards is being, as Kitty used to say, sizely, I'm just going to natter here.

Besides, here I can post my candidates of choice (hee) from that weird ABC Pick Your Candidates Quiz.

Some of their questions are a mite too specific, or possibly leading, especially the last one. I mean, having to choose experience in either the House or Senate? I think either would be helpful.

So anyway, mine were as follows:

1) Kucinich
2) Biden
3) Gravel

I'm amused. Apparently, I'm a flaming leftwinger idealist. Thinking realistically, either of the first two would make a great president, but neither has a hope in frozen hell of winning, so I wouldn't actually vote for them.

Spiders, no doubt, or possibly cosmic rays, or cruel fate.

I'm betting on spiders, though. I looked up into a bathroom light fixure yesterday and there's a HUGE egg sack right next to the bulb- poked it with a broom, no luck, so now I've got to rally the troops to bring the stepladder in before the thing hatches.

Julia, also, Proboards almost certainly needed to stop selling new accounts a year or so ago, as their support board is cluttered with evidence of scaling problems

Scaling problems? So, in addition to spiders, they have a mineral buildup? Nothing would surprise me.

Seriously, I know what you mean, I think. What doesn't make any sense? The servers the daughters' forums are on seem to have none of the problems we do.
