I did a creative thing

anne_dThis week, I chose one creative thing from my list that seemed like it was finite and fairly short, and I did it. It's not much, but I finished it and I'm pretty happy with the results.
So. Inspired by this Stampington free project, I painted and embellished a cheap clipboard from Michael's.
Materials: cheap particleboard clipboard with removable clip, acrylic paints and varnish, decorative paper tape
I liked the colors in the original project, but not so much the twee art journal idea. Anyway, I wanted something I could use as a chart or lesson printout holder, so I tinkered with the paint colors and design a bit. I'm pretty happy with the results.
Perhaps now I can make myself get back to that embroidery UFO. Or maybe I'll go play with beads. I've been thinking about a pair of earrings for Aged Mum's Easter basket...
