I made a shiny thing
Oct. 23rd, 2014 06:23 pmI decided to take a day off from my online watercolor class and do what I felt like doing. These had been sitting and waiting for inspiration since I bought the pendant some years ago, and today it all came together. So I made a shiny thing.

Raku ceramic pendant (art nouveau-style woman's face with oak leaves) and beads, copper oak leaf charms, copper-plated findings.
There's another ceramic pendant I bought at the same time, a sort of moon face, which I started putting together this afternoon. That one is still in progress. I think it'll be done tomorrow. Sometimes, you just need to do what you want to do and let the have-tos wait.
