And not in a good way...
Main Place is not what it used to be. Many of the interesting kiosks are gone, replaced by cell phone vendors. The store with the pretty shiny interesting jewelry is now a Godiva chocolate shop (the previous Godiva location having turned into a Zales jewelry store), and Gloria Jean's, the only place in the region where you could get an Italian soda, is now Popcornopolis. Stale popcorn covered with sticky goo and bags of premade cotton candy, it's no substitute. The Thomas Kinkade Village Gallery, on the other hand, seems firmly and permanently planted. Some things just can't be killed.
At least Kitty's anime store is still there, but who knows for how long.
Anne, you see one mall, you've seen them all
