Lessons 1 & 2

Lesson 3

Lesson 4, previous post

I still wasn't feeling up to heavy housework today, so after I slayed the usefuls I was able to slay, I finished another accordion book. I'm calling it "Wild Things".

This one started out with a leftover strip from an atlas page, so I sized the cover to fit the pages. It's 3x4½" and oriented vertically to use the full length of the page.

Materials: Matboard, pages from the same atlas I've been destroying recycling for this class, cardstock, rubberstamps, archival inks, Prismacolor pencils and bookbinding glue.

The front of the book. I used a Laurel Burch rubberstamp, which I colored, and my hand-carved bamboo stamps.

The back of the book, with two more Laurel Burch stamps, also colored.

The book, open, endpapers stamped with the bamboo stamps. Yes, it's vertical because that's the way the page runs.

And there we are. The last lesson arrives tomorrow. This has been a fun class.
