Tuesday Morning
Jul. 3rd, 2007 08:11 amUsefuls committed:
Alarm went off at 4:50.
Fed cats.
Made tea for self and spouse.
Dragged Kitty out of bed.
Walked to market. Came home hot and dripping.
Had uncomfortable conversation with younger spawn regarding personal hygiene (hers).
Currently, at 8:12AM, 72°, 62% rh. In the shade.
Shortly:
Put away clean laundry.
Drive Kitty to eye exam appointment. If she needs new glasses, run miscellaneous errands to kill the hour or so until her new glasses are ready.
I am highly frustrated by my lack of energy. I have a jacket in need of mending and a pile of fun creative things waiting to be accomplished, not to mention the curtains for the bedroom, which I can't start until I clear various areas and prep them for large-scale sewing. Unless and until the heat wave breaks, it's probably all going to sit there sneering at me, because I'm just too damn tired to do anything in the evenings.
Here's hoping that the new mattresses (to be delivered, supposedly, next Monday) help with the sleep issues. Which reminds me that I need to inventory the existing linens and see what can be reused, and what needs complete replacement. One complete set of sheets and a mattress pad need buying, at minimum.
Anne, melting
