My trip to the vampires, um, lab

anne_dSurvived the rush hour madness. Why did Kaiser decide to build just east of a major freeway off/onramp? I guess that was all the land they could afford.
Got in, sat and read Mansfield Park while waiting (Fanny Price is such a drip), got drained. Now I wait and hope that the tests show something fixable.
Drove to Ralphs and did my banking and shopping and got a tea and chocolate muffin at the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf.
Now, if I can just decide what chores are the most important. That may take a while. Sitting, and thinking, and thinking...
While I was gone, Emily watched Lil Bush, which I taped for her last night. She thought it was horribly funny, and is looking forward to next week's. She does have a warped sense of humor.
I seem to be descending into the "nobody likes me" brainspace again (and if it's true, I'd rather not know). I think it's best to be quiet when I'm in that sort of mood, as I have a House-like tendency to try to push people away before they tell me to get lost.
