It all started with a SilverCrow Dead Fairies kit...
The Younger Daughter and I played with the original kit, and I had so much fun I bought more little skeletons, my own butterflies, and more shiny stuff. Then my cousin asked about dead angels, and I got to thinking, why not?
So here we have my purple glittered tree (purchased from Michael's several Halloweens ago, stuck into a hunk of florists' foam which I glued into a silver flowerpot, then strewed with iridescent melted marbles), with the current flock of dead fairies and the dead angel I didn't give away. I really should make a few more one of these days; there's still lots of room on those branches...

I forgot to mention that they're about 2" tall, but you can see the original two against my hand, for scale, if you go to that entry (link above the photo).
Come to think of it, what that tree needs is crows, or something black anyway. I wonder if I have any black Dresden wings the right size for those little skellies? I could make a dark angel, perhaps. Just what I need, more projects.
