And it only took me how long?
Here we have the second part of the Altered Tin class from... never mind. The first part produced my Butterfly Girl, here. This one was completed yesterday, 26 April 2010.
It's the lid of the tin this time, covered with crumpled tissue paper and glue, then painted with black acrylic, then brushed with gold leafing pen paint. Those are my daughters in the photo; the Elder is channelling Sarah Palin and the Younger is someplace that is else, in spirit anyway.
Embellishments are the same as the other one: Dresden paper trims, gold, and black brushed with gold leafing pen paint.
The front:

and the back (because it's a bit fancied up too). The labels are rubberstamps on sticker paper, and there's a black wire hook for hanging it:

This one is going to my mom.
