So I finished another shiny thing.
This used the techniques from Robin Dudley Howes' Eclectic Beaded Boho Crochet Jewelry or whatever she calls it these days Class plus a few I invented as i went along. So anyway, materials include: Silamide thread, heads, charms, buttons, coins, and a small one of Eleanor Wiley's Sacred Wheel of Peace mandala pendants*. There are beads from Tibet, a vintage glass button, assorted stones including amethyst, lapis, tigereye, and Connemara marble, Czech glass, assorted seed beads, a Harpy Girl and a Sphinx from Green Girl Studio, and other special things. I had fun using a lot of treasures from the hoard.
Here is everything strung and ready to go. This was my second try as the first was a bit unbalanced and too long.

Here's the finished wrap. It can go three times around my wrist or I can wear it as a necklace with the Sacred Wheel in the middle. It's a little hard to make out, but I figured out how to suspend the pendant so I can rotate it on its beady little axis, and still keep the whole thing on one long thread.

A couple shots of the bracelet wrapped around my wrist.

*It's the mandala equivalent of those COEXIST bumper stickers and buttons and yes, I own a few of those too.
