I finished this year's crop of Japanese journals.
The usual handmade papers, perle cotton (sizes 5 and 8) for binding, assorted page weight papers, glue, bookcloth.
I started with the idea of making the narrower journals for my planner and two for a future planned project and a couple for Kitty. I may have got a bit carried away... I had some fancy paper that was only enough for one journal, and I thought, well, I might as well use that up. Then I went to Art Supply Warehouse and there was the perfect matching paper for the future project, so I made one more.
4x6" journals with assorted binding patterns: (Paul chose the green-gold one. He says he's going to "cherish" it. I said I'd rather he used it, so I could make more journals.)

Of these four, the top two are for a project I really am going to get to one of these years, the lower two are Kitty's - she chose the cover papers.

3½x6" journals, slimmed down to fit in Minerva-the-planner's notepad pocket. I had some paper that was only enough for one cover, so I used a corresponding pattern in another colorway for the other sides. Side 1
