Another Shiny Thing

anne_dI finished a few small projects this week. Mostly repairs to the charm dangles on Minerva the Filofax and the project sketchbook, both of which had snagged and pulled apart. But also a set of fidget beads to carry in my purse, based around one of Eleanor Wiley's Sacred Wheel of Peace mandala pendants.
Large (1ΒΌ") pewter Sacred Wheel of Peace, African trade beads, metal spacers, 4-ply Irish waxed linen cord. I made the drawstring bag from two colors of silk Dupioni and some fine rayon cord.
It's a start. Perhaps now I can get back to one of the bigger projects.
