We're supposed to be visiting the Aged Parents next Saturday. So when my mom called this afternoon, she wanted to know if we could come up on Sunday instead. She wouldn't tell me why, either, so for all I know, it may just be one of my dad's control things again.

Paul's Mythie meeting is next Sunday afternoon/evening, so no, we can't. The timing is impossible. I'm sure my dad has already counted that as another strike; he's always looking for reasons to dislike my husband. Of course, my little sister's husband is perfectly perfect in every way (mostly because they never visit the APs).

Well, can't we come up on May 3rd? No, that's the only day these two months that Daria and I can get together, and besides, we're coming up Mothers' Day weekend for sure. So my mom is sighing and laying on the guilt (I'm well-trained) and generally trying to make me feel like shit. It's working, but I'm still not going to demand that Paul give up his one and only social gig.

So here I am, bad guy as usual. *Inserts various and sundry expletives*
