Monday, Monday...
Apr. 13th, 2009 05:53 amMy horoscope for today, according to the LA Times:
SAGITTARIUS (Nov. 22-Dec. 21). You volunteer, not because you can't say no, but because you have a good feeling about the cause. The increasing responsibility will strengthen you. The pressure will force you to consolidate your power.
My first response was "a world of NO", because I have far too many responsibilities already. But then I got to thinking...
Okay, I volunteer. I volunteer to drive Younger Daughter on her bookshop crawl this morning. We're going to Borders, where I can duck next door to Kinko's and do my color-reduction copying, and to Barnes & Noble, which is in the same parking lot as Payless Shoes, so we can get Kitty some new sneakers, and come to think of it, I believe there's a Pier One there as well... This volunteering might not be so bad after all. ::evil laugh::
P.S. The Husband has not, to my knowledge, noticed the apron-collection yet. Men. ::eyeroll::
P.P.S. Best-laid plans and all that... Kitty spent all her money at Borders, and it was way too early to go to the shoe store, so I got her a snack at Starbucks and we came home. We'll go to the Brea Payless around 10AM, and maybe I'll drag the daughter through Michael's or Pier One after she gets her new sneakers.
