Last night, I put the three pieces I embroidered into one hanging banner thingy. I used some brown grosgrain ribbon and a stick from one of our peach trees; it's about 17"x6" not counting the stick. Note: Previous entries for this class can be found under the "creative embroidery" tag.
The front:

Top to bottom, jacaranda pods, fieldstone porch column, dandelions.
and back:

The white strips on the back are labels with my name and the completion date of each piece.
Oh, it's lunchtime.
ETA: Susan (the teacher) thought my banner thingy was such a good idea, she's put my photos into her student file to share. She seems to like my work in general, which is pretty gratifying.
