Bracelets New and Old
Whilst I was cleaning up these bangles to wear to the Sawdust Festival, it occurred to me that I’d never shared them here. So here they are in all their funky glory, along with the leather cuff bracelets from the Sawdust.
I made one in “Biker Chick Bangles” class way back in 2006. It was so much fun, I promptly made two more. They’re really heavy gauge wire, copper, brass, and sterling, with beads and washers and bolts and little bells and stuff like that.
My two leather cuffs from Laughing Raven at the Sawdust Festival. Wonder Woman I bought some years back; the crescent moon is new, my reward for handling all the paperwork and shit of the reverse mortgage. Paul took one look at the moon cuff and said “Xena, Warrior Princess”. Perhaps that’s why it called me by my true name. Anyway I’m well-protected now.
