My Scary Little Mermaid
She's done. Since Paul doesn't want her anywhere near him*, she's going to live in my studio most of the time. At Halloween she will emerge from her watery lair to terrify all beholders, heh heh heh.
The mermaid skeleton came from Michael's a few years ago, and I recently was inspired to dress her up a bit. She's about 20" tall including the crown. I used assorted and sundry fancy trims and fibers, a few charms, and lots of E-6000 craft cement. I think the crown was a napkin ring; it's been in the hoard for a while, waiting for the perfect moment. I glued sea star charms and pearls onto it.
