The Not Quite Attack of the Deranged Mutant Killer Monster Snow Goons

I made a batch of these to give to friends, relations, my mom's regular caregivers and her nice helpful neighbor:

In the foreground, an army of snow people, made from a felt kit by Artgirlz (alas, no more) with some additions of stocking caps and scarves; the twig arms are from local trees, peach, pomegranate and something I found on the sidewalk after a heavy wind, probably liquidambar. In the background, Mexican votive candles wrapped in handmade paper with leaf inclusions.



And just because I like the way they look in the box I grabbed for storing them, the army in transports, or its transport, or something:
